it can be interesting to know what things other people enjoy, and why. here are some things i like: bibliography good written words are very enjoyable discography good music is required for a healthy soul compadres being inspired by other folks' work is good for your work it's been difficult to get out to see live music or movies in the theater for the past few years - our young son keeps us close to home most evenings, but i can share a little bit about some films i enoyed in 2007: lars and the real girl, directed by craig gillespie, was as wonderful a film as i've seen in many, many years - it has gone right to my top 10 list. why do i like it so much? it has a good heart. it's funny. the characters in the film care for each other. it has an opinion and is not afraid to share, without being 'preachy'. the tory is about humans and how they function, which is almost always the most interesting topic for a film, or maybe any artwork. 10 stars, craig, and thank you for this film. more things i enjoyed this past year, and why.
